Donations of Money

  1. Gifts of money. The Library gratefully accepts any gifts of money.
  2. Gifts in memory of a person. Please tell us the person's name and the name and address of the family member who should be notified of the gift. A memorial plate with the person's name and the donor's name will be placed in any materials purchased with the donations. Donations may be used for furniture or other items.
  3. Gifts in honor of a person. Please tell us the person's name and the name of the donor.

Please let us know if you would like the donation to go to a specific library.

Donations are tax deductable. Please make checks out to "Cape May County Library". Our mailing address is:

Donations of Materials

The Library accepts donations of any kind that support and further the goals and mission of the Library. Donations of all materials will be evaluated according to the Library's Collection Development Policy. Items not retained for the collection may be sold at one of the Library's book sales or given to a local organization. Items in very poor condition may be recycled.

Samsung Chromebooks powered by Chrome OS can be borrowed and used in the Library. Patrons can surf the web, stream videos, listen to music, post to social networks, play games, or create documents. Some features may require users to have a Google Account, click here to create one. Currently, Chromebooks are only available to borrow at the Main Branch in Court House. Patrons must be 18 years of age or older to borrow a Chromebook and he or she must leave ID with staff while borrowing the Chromebook. Please call the Reference Desk for further information – 609.463.6352.
