Hard boil eggs. Once cooked, gently lift eggs out of water and run cold water over the eggs until cool enough to handle
Gently crack eggs all over by rolling on paper towel – making sure not to remove/detatch any shell (the more cracked the shell the more intricate the marble will be.)
In a large pan add tea leaves, water, and salt. Add eggs to pan in a single layer; making sure all eggs are submerged.
Bring water slowly to a simmer cover and simmer for 1 hour.
After an hour, remove from heat and let cool in water (the longer they the sit the deeper the color).
Ready to serve when cool. If not serving immediately – wrap individually in plastic wrap with shells on – only remove shells when serving.
