Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and cut in the butter until crumbly meal is formed.
Add the liquid and gently mix until just combined.
Knead gently until a ball is formed.
Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
Roll out in rice flour to about ¾ of an inch thick and cut out biscuits. Place side by side on a heavy baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for about 18 minutes or until risen and golden brown.
