Shrimp and Grits

  • ¾ cups yellow grits
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/8 cups Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 pounds of 16/20 shrimp, peeled and devained
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper


  1. Grits: In a medium saucepan bring milk to a boil, stir in grits and reduce heat to low. Cook stir occasionally about 10 minutes.
