Sauteed Kale and onions

Ingredients

  • Sauteed Kale and Onions
  • 1 Bunch Kale, sliced extremely thin
  • 1 Red Onion, sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp. veg oil
  • Kale Sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup orange juice, preferably fresh squeezed. Clementines are great for this
  • 1/4 Tbsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar, but adjust to taste

Directions

  1. Sauteed Kale and Onions

    Sautee the onions until limp, 2-3 mins, in the veg. oil. I like to add a splash of sesame oil. Once limp, add the kale and season with S and P. toss quickly until the kale begins to limp and cook down. Add your sauce.

  2. Kale Suace

    Its that easy. Let the kale cook down in the sayce for a few minutes, and drain slightly before serving.
