Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ pound ground veal
  • ½ pound ground pork
  • 3 shallots minced
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 1 small potato grated
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup milk or cream

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl reserving ½ of the ketchup.

  2. Mix gently and only until just incorporated to avoid toughening the steak.

  3. Form 5 ounce oval patties and place on a sheet pan.

  4. Bake at 360 degrees for about 20 minutes.

  5. Server with brown gravy.
