Pork Wontons with Mango Salsa Dipping Sauce

  • 1lb. ground pork
  • 2tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated)
  • Zest from 1 whole medium size orange
  • Package of wonton wrappers (about 400)
  • 4tbsp lite soy sauce
  • 4tbsp brown sugar
  • 4tbsp brown sugar
  • Diced scallions
  • Mango Dipping Sauce:
  • Container of fresh mango salsa (found in most fresh sections)
  • 4-6oz fresh orange juice


  1. Wontons: Sauté pork until no pink remains and add all other ingredients except wonton wrappers and dipping sauce. Cook to incorporated flavors 9mixture should not be too wet.) Place wrappers into a mini muffin pan and spoon about a teaspoon of mixture in center. Put into a preheated 375 F oven and cook 10-12 minutes (until crisp and golden.) Place on platter and top with Mango dipping sauce, serve while still hot.

  2. Mango Dipping Sauce: Place salsa in blender or food processor and puree, thinning with orange juice to a dripping consistency. Depending on size of processor this may need to be done in batches. Chill well and serve.
