  • 3lbs sliced Russet potatoes
  • 1/2 medium onion diced
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup canola oil


  1. Heat pan until hot so the oil is near smoking.

  2. Add the sliced potatoes and spices until the potatoes start to brown at the edges.

  3. Turn the potatoes with a spatula and add the onions.

  4. Cook until the potatoes are browned on both sides and onions are wilted. Serve immediately.
