Combine all dry ingredients and stir to blend.
Add the softened butter and mix well.
Add the eggs and milk and stir until smooth batter forms.
Fill lined cupcakes tins ¾ of the way and allow to sit covered for about 40 minutes in a warm spot.
Bake at 425 degrees until set about 15 to 20 minutes.
