Barbecued Beef Poppers

  • 12 Jalapeno peppers
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup BBQ beef or pork (precooked)
  • 1 pound bacon (precooked preferred)
  • Steak seasoning (to taste) optional


  1. Cut peppers lengthwise and remove seeds and veins and wash.

  2. Mix cream cheese, parmesan and meat and add steak seasoning.

  3. Spoon mixture into the hollow halves of each pepper, wrap with one slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, place the peppers on a cookie sheet and place in the oven until the mixture is warm.

  5. Serve immediately
