061816 BB Boat Cruise

Date: 6/18/2016
Time: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Gain access to some of Southern New Jersey’s wildest places aboard the M.V. Osprey. Wilson will give a short multimedia presentation at the Lower Township Library before the voyage. We will then travel a short distance to board the M.V. Osprey in Cape May and take a two hour tour of the back bays. While cruising through secure waterways aboard a stable pontoon boat, wonderful opportunities arise to see wildlife. The M.V. Osprey is captained by Bob Lubberman, a seasoned captain who has over twenty years experience in driving vessels. Ages six and up are welcome to join the cruise. Binoculars are recommended.

Sam Wilson is a teacher and naturalist at the New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May. His passion is teaching about science and nature, and conveying the importance of the conversation of our natural resources and wildlife.

Adopted by the New Jersey Audubon Society in 1995, the Nature Center of Cape May is one of nine staffed nature centers throughout the state. The environmental education campus, located on the shores of beautiful Cape May Harbor in Cape May, includes the Trucksess Welcome Center, a three story observation tower, and multiple themed display gardens.
